The 1829-1837 Capped Bust Half Dimes share the same obverse design with the 1807-1839 Half Dollar. It is fairly easy to find Capped Bust Half Dimes in all grades. Most coins have weak strike in one area or another. It should be possible to find Full Detail examples with time. Care should be taken with Mint State grades as some have been considered cleaned or colored and overgraded and can lower Capped Bust Half Dime Value. Key dates are 1838-O, 1840-O.
